Our Team
Dr. Keith Wolfgang Newcomer is the foremost authority on due diligence and mitigating acquisition risk in emerging markets and works with clients to navigate the nuances of operating in increasingly complex emerging markets during M&A transactions. Dr. Newcomer also helps firms during the post-acquisition transition period, particularly supporting venture capital companies to differentiate between inefficient businesses and those with embedded patronage networks in supply chains and government relationships. His experience engaging with seniormost government leadership and corporate decision-makers across the developing world with complex diligence projects pairs well with our team's delivery of more traditional M&A financial due diligence.
Dr. Newcomer has advised several Fortune 500 companies on emerging market entry strategies, transparency frameworks, and post-acquisition corporate governance risk mitigation, helping them safeguard investments and institutionalize transparency in multifaceted regulatory and political environments. His guidance has been instrumental in shaping compliance and due diligence protocols that align global corporate standards with on-the-ground realities across frontier economies.
Prior to Emerging, he led human intelligence networks and primary data collection programs for the U.S. Government and the private sector in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and South America for 20 years. His work across emerging markets includes specialized support to cryptocurrency and critical minerals mining platforms on multiple continents. He holds a Doctorate in International Development from The University of Southern Mississippi, with a specialization on how to unembed corruption and patronage networks in East Africa. Over the past three decades, he has had long-term residences in Kenya, Tanzania, Germany, and the United Kingdom, with program implementation in more than 40 countries.

Ahman Green is a former NFL running back with four NFL organizations. After a highly successful 12-year career in the NFL—including four Pro Bowl appearances and setting the Green Bay Packers' all-time rushing record—Ahman transitioned into the world of business and finance.
He brings the same discipline, analytical mindset, and team-driven approach that defined his athletic career to the field of M&A and organizational development. Green focuses on the human resources and leadership dimensions of transactions, helping teams navigate change and maintain performance during periods of transition. This focus is reflected in his former role as a coordinator in the NFL Legends Community and in his current role as a board member in the Pro Football Retired Players Association. He also is a professional E-sports gamer and provides leadership development to youth and collegiate teams.
As he continues to expand his expertise in M&A, Green's unique perspective on leadership, culture, and performance adds depth to the Emerging team. He frequently provides thought leadership on the intersection of sports, business, and personal development, translating lessons from elite competition into strategies for organizational success.
